Candidate Profile: ​Mac Hird, born in Regina, earned a physics degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and a master’s in technology and policy from MIT. He served as Regional Advisor to Minister Ralph Goodale and Director of Policy to Minister Jim Carr. Since 2022, Mac has worked in business development at a Regina-based agri-food company. Now, he’s the Liberal candidate for Regina–Lewvan.​
