Candidate Profile: Irek has served as Member of Parliament for Windsor–Tecumseh since 2019, and was appointed by the Prime Minister as Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministers of Employment, Workforce Development, Labour, Disability Inclusion and Seniors. He has delivered over $16 billion in federal investment to our region of Windsor-Essex – the most in Canada – including record investment for jobs, housing and infrastructure, a new Battery Plant, new Gordie Howe Bridge, new buses and trains, and a new Ojibway National Urban Park.
