Candidate Name: Marilène Gill

Candidate Profile: Marilène Gill was born in Sorel. After completing university studies at UQTR, she chose to settle in the Côte-Nord region, where her three children were born. With a master’s degree in literature and having begun a doctorate in literary studies, she has worked and been actively involved in the literary community—as a collection director at Trois-Pistoles, a youth representative and later a jury member for the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, and as an author with Les Herbes rouges.
