Candidate Name: Viviane Lapointe

Candidate Profile: Elected in 2021, Viviane Lapointe is the proud Member of Parliament for Sudbury. She was recently appointed as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Official Languages and Associate Minister of Public Safety. In Ottawa, Viviane has served on two Standing Committees — National Defence and Natural Resources where she’s been advocating to address challenges, eliminate barriers and foster a resilient economy for northern Ontario. Viviane was raised in Sudbury and is proud to still call the city home.
